Paula co-founded Health Advances in 1992 with a rich and varied set of
experience in consulting and international ventures. She came to Health
Advances from Bain & Company, where she led the firm's R&D practice, and
she garnered plentiful international experience with Atlantic Richfield,
Samsung, and the Peace Corps.
Paula's functional expertise includes research and development management,
new product commercialization, negotiation, and international ventures.
She has also provided contract management for early-stage companies. Paula
served on the Board of Cambridge Scientific, a private company developing
polymer technologies for medical applications, and she advises several other
clients' Boards on an ongoing basis. She served on the executive committee
of the MIT Enterprise Forum for many years.
Paula graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a degree in International
Government. She received her MBA from Columbia University, where she earned
Beta Gamma Sigma honors and was named an International Fellow.
